We’re Hiring a Panel Builder

Technidrive Ltd is continuing to grow, and we are now recruiting an experienced Panel Builder to join our team at our Portadown facility. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward‑thinking engineering business, working within a structured, safety‑focused environment on high‑quality electrical control panel assemblies.

 

About the Role

As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and associated components in line with technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and internal build standards. You will play a key role in ensuring every panel leaving our workshop meets Technidrive’s high expectations for quality, safety, and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical panels, control panels, and sub‑assemblies using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly to specification
  • Inspect completed panels to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Follow all health & safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Identify, report, and assist in rectifying faults or non‑conformances
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a panel builder or electrical assembler (essential)
  • Strong ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment
  • A reliable, proactive, and safety‑conscious approach to work
