Delivery and Returns Policy

This Policy has been created to ensure detailed information is captured and to enable efficient management of the returns procedure.



The Technidrive LTD Warranty Policy is advised in section 5 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The awarding of warranty is solely the responsibility of Technidrive LTD and our suppliers. The warranty period on products supplied by Technidrive LTD is typically one year, unless otherwise advised. Technidrive LTD will endeavour to inspect and diagnose items returned for warranty evaluation within a reasonable time frame.

In the circumstance where the customer requires an immediate replacement while the original drive is removed to be accessed for warranty evaluation. This will be at the expense of the customer and not subsidised or refunded by Technidrive Ltd or our suppliers in any way. In cases when warranty is not awarded, the customer may be liable for charges related to inspection and repair.

Return Authorisation

When returning items for warranty evaluation, refund or any other cause, an NC number will need to be raised and supplied to the customer.  Technidrive LTD reserve the right to refuse delivery of items that are not clearly labelled with an NC number.  To obtain an NC number, the following information will need to be supplied –

  • Technidrive Sales Order acknowledgement number
  • Customer’s Purchase Order number
  • Product Code
  • Product serial number
  • Reason for return (no longer required, warranty request etc.)
  • Details of reported fault if applicable
  • Customer contact details including billing and shipping addresses

Once the above information has been received an NC number will be supplied.

Return Shipments

Return shipments will be arranged by and at the cost of the customer.  The items will remain the responsibility and property of the customer until the NC number assigned to the item has been closed off. All return shipments to Technidrive LTD must clearly display the NC number supplied and be packaged accordingly to protect the item from damage during transit. Returns that are unused and require a refund should be in original packaging and in an “as new” and resaleable condition. Shipments must be on a tracked and signed for service for proof of delivery purposes.

Warranty Repair

This will be a repair that has been authorised by the equipment manufacture and allocated to Technidrive LTD to execute. This type of repair is only applicable if it falls within a valid warranty period of 1 year, unless otherwise stated, and the item in question has been specified, purchased, installed and used in accordance with the manufacture guidelines as per section 1 of this document.

Technidrive LTD will prepay for return of warranty repaired goods once the matter has been resolved to addresses within the UK and Ireland

Non-Warranty Repair

This applies to items deemed not to be covered by warranty. The customer will be advised via official quote of the cost of a non-warranty repair. Items this can include are but not limited to:

  • Replacement parts and associated carriage costs to procure
  • Labour costs for Technidrive LTD Engineers to perform the repair
  • Diagnostic costs for producing reports and fault finding
  • Programming charges to resolve customer issues

Once the customer receives a quote from Technidrive LTD for the repair, a valid purchase order must be raised and sent to Technidrive LTD for invoicing purposes.

No Fault Found

Technidrive LTD are an approved distributer and repair centre for the products we sell. When investigating reported faults, each manufactures specific investigative and repair processes are followed and stringent tests are performed to try and replicate reported faults.  When a fault cannot be traced, Technidrive LTD will make an attempt to contact the customer to obtain further information.  If the customer cannot be contacted or the fault cannot be sourced, a non-warranty evaluation fee will be charged by Technidrive LTD and the unit returned to the customer at their cost.
